Blockchain and the .AM ccTLD

With the increase in blockchain technology in the recent years.  A very innovative blockchain company called Ethereum Name Service (ENS) has provided the capability of Web3 creation utilizing the Ethereum Network.

Commonly the .eth domain extension is utilized when using the ENS service directly.  But other services provided are the capability of using traditional Web2 domain extensions known as the Domain Name Service (DNS).

The traditional domains that are able to be used within the ENS network must be Domain Name System Security (DNSSEC) capable.  You must also have an Ethereum wallet which could either be a self custody wallet such as a Ledger, Trezor, or many other custody wallets.  You also have the option to use a software, software based wallet such as MetaMask.

With the .AM ccTLD being amongst the few country code top-level domain (ccTLD)s to be DNSSEC capable, it can be combined with the ENS.

You may need some help from your registrar or the ENS team if you’re not tech savvy or you run into some issues.

We have provided some information below from ENS to assist you in your journey with putting your .AM on the blockchain.
