CONDITIONS FOR ACCREDITATION OF REGISTRARS

1. Legal entities registered in the Republic of Armenia may be accredited as registrars.
   (Clause 1 amended on 19.12.2023 by Decision No. 13L, modified on 07.11.2024 by Decision No. 14L)
2. A person wishing to be accredited as a registrar must submit a written application for accreditation.
3. The application of a person wishing to be accredited as a registrar must include:
1. The full name of the entity, and if applicable, the abbreviated name, organizational-legal form, location (legal address), place of operation, taxpayer identification number, email address, and the phone number of the executive body (head of the executive body),
2. A statement indicating whether the entity has a website and its domain name, as well as confirmation that the applicant understands that, after being accredited as a registrar and before signing the appropriate agreement with the commercial operator of the registry, they are obliged to have on that website an online domain name registration and management system, which must at least include the ability to:
• Open a personal account,
• Register a domain name,
• Transfer a domain name,
• Store and modify the administrative, technical, and financial contact details of the domain name registrant (name, surname, phone number, email address),
• Store the details of the person paying for the domain name registration or transfer (name, surname, phone number, email address),
• Modify the domain name system (DNS) server information,
3. A list of IP addresses through which connectivity with the registry interface will be ensured,
4. Information about the individuals considered to be administrative, financial, and technical contacts (name, surname, mobile phone number, email address),
5. A statement confirming that the entity is not in the process of liquidation, is not declared bankrupt, and is not undergoing bankruptcy proceedings,
6. A statement confirming that the applicant is familiar with the materials published on the websites www.amnic.net and www.isoc.am, which describe the domain name registration process and other related relationships,
7. A request to be accredited as a registrar for the “.am” and “.հայ” domain name spaces (if the applicant wishes to become a registrar for either of the mentioned domains, the corresponding domain space must be specified),
8. A list of documents attached to the application,
9. The signature of the head of the executive body of the applicant,
10. The date (day, month, year) the application was prepared.

1. A copy of the document certifying the state registration of the applicant must be attached to the application submitted by the person wishing to be accredited as a registrar.
